Whitney Laird

Ms. Laird is a Managing Director in Stifel’s Baton Rouge office with over 14 years of public finance experience. During this time she has been involved with over $12 billion in public finance transactions for cities, parishes, counties, school districts, universities, ports, state agencies and special finance districts throughout Louisiana and Mississippi. She serves as the senior financial analyst for all Louisiana and Mississippi offerings, providing technical support, financial analysis and debt structuring and modeling.

Additionally, she assists bankers with offering document preparation and review, credit presentation and transaction execution as well as serving as the primary liaison with retail and institutional sales and trading for these offerings. Ms. Laird began her career in public finance as a corporate trust administrator at the Bank of New York Mellon.

Ms. Laird received her B.S. in International Trade and Finance from Louisiana State University, MBA from Southeastern Louisiana University with honors and maintains Series 50, 52 and 63 licenses.
