Varun joined Stifel in June 2022 and has 15 years’ corporate finance experience focused exclusively on the metals & mining sector. He has extensive experience advising clients on corporate broking activities, M&A assignments, and a wide range of equity and debt capital raisings. Recent clients include ACG Metals, Adriatic Metals, Amaroq Minerals, Australian Pacific Coal, Bannerman Energy, Hummingbird Resources, Montage Gold, Osino Resources and Sovereign Metals. Varun’s prior experience was gained in the mining teams of BMO Capital Markets, Jefferies and Berenberg. He holds an MA from the University of Cambridge.
