Thibaut De Smedt is Managing Director within Stifel’s Global Technology Group, specializing in Software and based in Paris. He joined Stifel in 2025 through the acquisition of Bryan, Garnier & Co, where he was Partner and Co-Head of the Software & Fintech investment banking practice. Thibaut holds nearly 25 years of experience in investment banking. He previously worked for Close Brothers (DC Advisory Partners), working on M&A transactions. His recent deals include the acquisition of SmartTrade on behalf of HgCapital, the sale of Prima Solutions to The Carlyle Group. Thibaut graduated from the University of Paris IX Dauphine.
