Sanj Benawra

Sanj Benawra joined Stifel in 2026 and serves as a Director in the firm’s Global Technology Group. He focuses on Software coverage in Europe and has over a decade of experience advising on technology M&A transactions. He has delivered on a broad range of transactions, including sell-side and buy-side mandates, minority investments, and take-privates, for clients and transaction counterparties spanning financial sponsors, entrepreneurs, and corporates.

Prior to joining Stifel, Sanj was a Director in the Technology Investment Banking team at Alantra. He previously held roles with Spectrum Corporate Finance, PwC and KPMG, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Sanj is a graduate of City St. George’s, University of London, where he earned a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Economics and Accountancy.
