Rob Mann

Rob Mann joined Stifel in 2014 and is Head of European Investment Banking.

After qualifying as a chartered accountant at Deloitte, Rob joined HSBC as an equity research analyst in 2000. He covered the retail sector and covered a variety of mid-cap retailers, including MFI furniture and Howden. He later broadened his coverage to consumer staples, and covered the Beverage sector globally for HSBC. Rob moved to Collins Stewart in 2005, to cover a broad range of consumer companies, spanning beverages, food, tobacco and household care. He then became Head of Research at Collins Stewart, and subsequently Head of Securities, with responsibility for all research, sales and trading activities. In 2012 Canaccord Genuity acquired Collins Stewart. Rob was responsible for the merger of the two business’s research, sales and trading operations.

Having left Canaccord in late 2013, Rob joined Oriel prior to the Stifel acquisition to run the Investment Banking operations, and is personally involved in the firm’s coverage of financial services companies, especially challenger banks and diversified financial companies.
