Philip Weisshaar joined Stifel’s Cleveland office in 2016, having previously held public finance roles with the firm in California, and before that, with Davenport & Company in Virginia. Mr. Weisshaar provides analytical support for new money and refunding transactions throughout the State of Ohio with experience in rating agency interaction, refunding monitoring and structuring, and transaction execution for a variety of credits. He has worked with school districts, cities, counties, community colleges, and other issuers.

Mr. Weisshaar received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish (cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Denison University in Granville, Ohio and a Master of Science in Management from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. His FINRA securities registrations include Series 7, 50 and 63.
