Peter Shin

Peter joined Stifel through its 2019 acquisition of Mooreland Partners and is a senior member of the Applied & Industrial Technology and Software teams with a particular focus on the Fintech and Smart Mobility sectors. At Mooreland, Peter advised on several key transactions including the majority recapitalisation of Easypark by Vitruvian Partners and Verdane Capital.

Prior to joining Mooreland in 2016, Peter was a Senior Associate in the TMT Investment Banking group at Nomura, where he covered the payments sector and advised on several notable European transactions, including the merger of Equens and Worldline's Financial Processing business, the acquisition of Paysquare by Worldline, and the acquisition of ICBPI by Bain Capital, Advent International and Clessidra. Prior to Nomura, Peter worked in the TMT Investment Banking team at Piper Jaffray and began his career in the TMT M&A team of KPMG.

Peter earned a B.Sc. with Honours in Computer Science from University College London.
