Peter Czajkowski

Peter Czajkowski joined Stifel’s Public Finance Department in 1986 and became Director of Public Finance in 2007. Mr. Czajkowski also serves as Head of the Firm’s Municipal Securities Group and the Chairman of the firm’s Municipal Commitment Committee. The Municipal Securities Group encompasses operating divisions involving municipal finance including Public Finance and Municipal Capital Markets which includes underwriting and institutional municipal sales and trading as well as other related operations.

Under Mr. Czajkowski’s direction, Stifel Public Finance has managed numerous complex, multi-staged transactions and has grown its Public Finance Department from fewer than 20 professionals to more than 200 professionals across the country. Under his leadership, Stifel Public Finance has successfully integrated the merger of multiple firms with large and successful public finance practices into Stifel’s national public finance platform. He continues to serve as a lead banker on many transactions and participate with bankers who serve clients across the nation. Mr. Czajkowski’s investment banking work is primarily focused on housing, development, and not-for-profit borrowers, including cultural institutions, hospitals, private universities and secondary institutions, and senior living facilities.

Mr. Czajkowski joined Stifel Public Finance after receiving an MBA from the University of Illinois and is a licensed Registered Representative (Series 7), Securities Agent (Series 63), Municipal Securities Principal (Series 53), and Municipal Advisor Representative (Series 50).
