Petar Zelic

Prior to joining Stifel, Petar was Managing Director and Head of Technology Investment Banking at National Bank Financial in Toronto. Mr. Zelic has over 15 years of capital markets experience across a number of large Canadian and international banks.

Petar has advised on numerous merger and acquisition transactions for Canadian technology companies both public and private. He has led many marquee Canadian financings including initial public offerings as well as private placements, led by both domestic and international investors. Petar's first career was as a software engineer which allows him to form a deeper understanding of the companies and entrepreneurs he supports.

He obtained his Honours Bachelors of Mathematics in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and has an MBA from the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management.
