Olivier Garnier

Olivier Garnier, formerly founder and Managing Partner of Bryan, Garnier & Co, has been appointed Chairman of Stifel Europe. He has over 30 years of experience in investment banking. Olivier joined Stifel through the acquisition of Bryan Garnier. He began his career at Strategic Planning Associates (now Oliver Wyman) in London and Washington, before joining Goldman Sachs in New York in 1987, where he led major European equity offerings. In 1991, he returned to Europe to help develop CPR Bank in Paris and London, serving on the Executive Committee. In 1996, he co-founded Bryan, Garnier & Co with Shelby Bryan, aiming to build a full-service investment bank for high-growth tech and life sciences companies in Europe. Since then, BG has advised over 400 companies on €35+ billion in transactions, spanning private and public financing and M&A. He holds a Master of Science from École Centrale Paris.
