Nate Fretz

Nate Fretz is a Director within Stifel’s Illinois Public Finance Group. He joined Stifel in 2021 after working in school business management capacities for 11 years in various school districts. Prior to Stifel, Mr. Fretz served as Director of Business Services for the Springfield Public School District for 2 years, working with them for a total of 6 years. Mr. Fretz earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from McKendree University. He later earned his MSED in School Business Management from Northern Illinois University. He is a licensed Chief School Business Official and a former CPA. Mr. Fretz is a member of the Service Associate Advisory Committee as well as the Illinois Association of School Business Officials. He is also a board member for Pathway Services Unlimited, Inc., an organization that works to stimulate the development of quality opportunities and education for people with developmental disabilities and other physical and mental challenges.
