Mike Schumaker

Mike Schumaker is a Managing Director in the Indianapolis, Indiana Public Finance office of Stifel. Mr. Schumaker joined Stifel in January 2017 following Stifel’s acquisition of City Securities.

Prior to joining City Securities in 2011, Mr. Schumaker spent 7 years as a public finance banker for two national investment banking firms in Chicago, IL. Mr. Schumaker’s experience includes senior managed transactions for K-12 schools, public and private higher education, general obligation programs, transportation credits, sales and income tax credits, lease financings, water and sewer, tax increment financing, tobacco securitization and public power transactions. Mr. Schumaker primarily focuses on Indiana issuers, but has senior managed various transactions for state level authorities, cities and municipalities throughout the Midwest.

Mr. Schumaker holds a B.A. from Northwestern University and maintains Series 50, 52, 53, 63 and 79 licenses.
