Michael Lavallee

Mike LaVallee has experience in public finance in Arizona since 1996, including managing hundreds of bond issues throughout his career. Mr. LaVallee leads various public finance accounts, including school districts, cities and towns, fire districts, and other special districts. Types of debt include general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, lease purchase obligations/certificates of participation, and assessment bonds.

Mr. LaVallee specializes in unique financing solutions to solve tax rate management challenges associated with fast growth or economic decline through the use of stepped-coupon bonds, impact aid revenue bonds, debt refundings/restructurings, and lease purchase/certificates of participation. Mr. LaVallee leads the School District Sector Team for the Arizona office and is an active member and frequent speaker of the Arizona Association of School Business Officials, Arizona Superintendents Association, and the Arizona Fire District Association. He is also a member of the Education Finance Reform Group, a legislative advocacy group for public schools.

Mr. LaVallee serves on the Board of Downtown Urban Community Kids (DUCK), an organization providing after-school programs and other resources to urban Phoenix children. He has FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
