Lorenzo Boyd

Lorenzo Boyd has worked in securities since 1992. During his career as an investment banker, beginning in 1997, Mr. Boyd has completed more than 400 bond issues totaling more than $12 billion in par amount and has completed financings in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi. Mr. Boyd has worked in varying capacities as an investment banker, including lead manager, financial advisor, and structuring agent. Primarily, Mr. Boyd’s area of focus is Missouri K-12 and general Missouri municipal finance. Mr. Boyd has worked with numerous school districts in Missouri and Indiana and is leading an effort to capture more K-12 business in out-state Missouri.

In addition to working with several school districts as their investment banker of choice, Mr. Boyd is a much sought after lecturer for several Missouri K-12 organizations, including the Missouri Association of School Administrators (“MASA”) and the Missouri Association of School Business Officials (“MoASBO”). Mr. Boyd is an active member of several Missouri K-12 organizations, including, but not limited to, the Missouri School Board’s Association, MASA, and MoASBO. Mr. Boyd is also an active member of several community-based organizations and boards. Mr. Boyd has previously served on the Board of Directors of the following organizations: the St. Louis Summer Finance Institute, Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital Development Board, the Independence Center of St. Louis, the Missouri Association of School Business Officials (MoASBO) and the Professional Organization of Women.

Currently, Mr. Boyd is a member of the Character Plus for Schools Board of Directors. Character Plus’ mission is to develop positive character traits in young people by providing a high-quality character education process and resources to schools, homes, and communities. In addition, Mr. Boyd is a member of the Board of Directors for the St. Louis Community College Foundation, the Boys and Girls Club of Greater St. Louis and North County Inc.  Mr. Boyd holds various securities licenses, including Series 7, 50, 52, 53, and 63.
