[email protected] | (303) 406-9425 | v-CardLiz Barber is a Managing Director at Stifel Interest Rate Products, LLC. Liz holds over 20 years of experience in municipal derivatives and capital markets. She has assisted clients in executing more than $15 billion in interest rate swaps, including callable swaps, swaptions and interest rate caps.
Liz brings diverse capital markets experience to help Stifel’s clients with both their capital needs and innovative structures outside of traditional tax-exempt fixed rate bonds. She works with municipal clients and not-for-profit borrowers across the credit spectrum and specializes in integrating interest rate derivatives into tax-exempt financings.
In addition to her municipal derivatives experience, she managed a remarketing book of over $5 billion in variable rate demand bonds, launched George K. Baum & Company’s Mortgage Markets business to provide secondary market financing to housing finance agencies, and launched GKB’s Tender Option Bond administration business.
Liz began her career on JPMorgan’s municipal derivatives desk and spent 17 years at George K. Baum & Company prior to joining Stifel through Stifel’s acquisition of GKB’s public finance business.
Liz holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Duke University.
