Based in Montreal, Leon Aghazarian serves as a Managing Director on Stifel’s Sales & Trading Team. Leon holds nearly 20 years of experience in capital markets. He began his career in equity research, having spent over 10 years at National Bank Financial as a Special Situations Analyst covering small/mid cap firms. After this, he worked in equity sales as an Executive Director at CIBC and then as Head of Sales at Industrial Alliance Capital Markets. Leon’s unique mix of research and sales experience has led to the development of deep buyside relationships. Most recently, he served as Director of Investments at a large family office. Leon earned a BCom from Sherbrooke University and an MSc from Brighton University in the UK.
