John Klaus

Mr. Klaus joined Stifel Public Finance in March of 2005. He currently assists the entire St. Louis Public Finance office in the research, structuring, and analysis of municipal bond issues.

His main efforts are focused in the Midwest region on development projects for: public facilities; infrastructure; tax increment, transportation development, neighborhood improvement, community improvement, sales tax rebate, and levee districts; as well as project financings for sports and recreational facilities. He monitors all development-related transactions years after the initial issuance of bonds to help identify opportunities and create greater efficiencies. Mr. Klaus has been involved in over 350 public/private projects and bond issues.

Mr. Klaus is licensed with FINRA as a General Securities Representative (Series 7), General Securities Principal (Series 24), and Investment Advisor Representative (Series 66).
