Joe Sparacino

Joe Sparacino is a Managing Director in the Consumer Group at Stifel, focusing on companies in the Automotive Aftermarket.

Mr. Sparacino first joined Stifel in January 2020. Previously, he served as Managing Director and Head of Automotive Aftermarket Investment Banking at BB&T Capital Markets, where he built one of the industry’s first dedicated automotive aftermarket investment banking practices over a nearly 10-year tenure. Mr. Sparacino has over 25 years of M&A and corporate finance experience and is a specialist in M&A advisory and capital raising transactions. Mr. Sparacino’s past clients include automotive services companies providing tires, repair & maintenance, collision repair, quick lubes, and car washes, along with distributors and suppliers of replacement parts & chemicals, e-commerce platforms, and technology-enabled service companies. Mr. Sparacino has worked with a mix of private-equity backed, privately-held & founder-owned, and public companies.

Previously, Mr. Sparacino worked as an associate at Harris Williams & Co. and Citigroup Global Markets. Prior to these roles, Mr. Sparacino held positions in strategy, finance, and operations at Textron Inc. and Sensata Technologies.

Mr. Sparacino holds a B.S. in Finance from Boston College and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
