Ignacio Luzarraga

Mr. Luzarraga leads Stifel's efforts to extend its Investment Banking footprint in Europe. He heads Stifel's Spanish office in Madrid. Ignacio has more than 22 years of banking experience holding different M&A and DCM positions.

Ignacio led the acquisition of the Premium Cigar Division of Imperial Brands by the Chinese Consortium Allied Cigar Corp for €1.25Bn. As Managing Director at Haitong, he was responsible for the Bank’s deal origination and execution of Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Construction, and Infrastructure sectors in Spain.

Ignacio has a Sloan Fellowship Master from the London Business School and has completed executive studies in Private Equity at Harvard Business School. Ignacio holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from Pontifícia de Comillas University (ICADE), since 1996.
