Prior to Stifel, Mr. Gillies was the Manager, Capital Markets at Calfrac Well Services where his primary functions were to evaluate business development opportunities and manage investor relations. He also served as Research Associate (Energy Services) from 2010 to 2014 at FirstEnergy and 2008 to 2010 at Thomas Weisel Partners.
Mr. Gillies’ educational background includes an MSc International Securities, Investment and Banking at the University of Reading in the UK and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University. In 2022 Ian was named a TopGun Sell-Side Analyst by Brendan Wood International.
