Henry Lang

Henry is a Managing Director in the Leveraged Finance Group, and focuses on providing syndicated high yield and leveraged loan solutions for financial sponsors and corporates. His expertise includes leveraged lending, asset based lending, high yield and restructuring/special situations.

Henry joined Stifel in July of 2017. Prior to joining Stifel, he was at Jefferies for nine years as a Managing Director in leveraged finance, and was in charge of originating, structuring and underwriting leveraged loan and high yield transactions on behalf of financial sponsors and corporates. He served as the group leader for Jefferies Finance in charge of all transactions in the Industrials and Energy sectors, with over 50 lead arranged transactions representing $34B of total volume. Prior to Jefferies, Henry was a Vice President of Loan Syndications and Debt Capital Markets at Fortis, and has also worked in equity research at Soundview Technology Group. He began his career as a leveraged loan and private placement research analyst for Alliance Bernstein.

Henry has an MBA from New York University and a B.S. from State University of New York, Albany.
