Gareth Hunt

Gareth Hunt joined KBW in 2014 and leads our Law Firms and Litigation Finance advisory team in Investment Banking. We have advised law firms and litigation finance platforms across the capital structure, in public and private markets and in the US, Europe and Asia. The team has raised over $1bn of structured private capital, led the IPO of the largest law firm flotation and advised on the disposal of Gerchen Keller.

Prior to joining KBW, Gareth was Head of Equity Research at Canaccord Genuity Europe, covering large capitalisation UK Banks, and was a member of the top five Extel ranked UK Financials team. Earlier in his career, Gareth was a founding Partner of BIM LLP, a UK based long-short equity hedge fund, prior to which he was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs.

Gareth graduated from Oxford University in 1996 with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.
