Fabian Zimmer

Fabian Zimmer serves as a Managing Director in the firm’s Global Technology Group, where he drives DACH tech coverage and focuses on M&A and fundraising transactions, with a particular emphasis on software, tech-enabled services and industrial technology. He joined Stifel in 2024 from Arma Partners, where he was a Managing Director advising mid-market and large-cap software clients in the DACH region. Prior to this, Fabian was an Executive Director at Mooreland Partners, where he worked on M&A transactions in the technology sector across Europe.

Fabian holds close to 20 years of experience in technology investment banking. He has advised on a broad range of transactions, including sell-side and buy-side mandates, majority recapitalizations, minority investments and take-privates. Amongst his clients and transaction counterparties are financial sponsors, entrepreneurs and corporates in Europe, North America, and Asia.

Fabian holds a graduate degree in Finance and Strategy from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich (Diplom-Kaufmann).
