Erica Gonzalez

Erica Gonzalez is a Managing Director in Stifel’s Public Finance Department and head of the California Schools Group practice. Ms. Gonzalez joined the Public Finance Department after four years of working with the firm’s municipal trading desk and has over 15 years of experience in the industry.

Ms. Gonzalez is a dedicated California K-12 school banker assisting local districts in financing school facilities, including new construction, modernization, renovation, and technology improvements. Her work with California school districts includes general obligation bonds, Mello-Roos bonds, certificates of participation, leases, and the refinancing or restructuring of previously issued bonds. Ms. Gonzalez is a frequent speaker at conferences for various school advocacy organizations including the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA), the California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO), the Coalition for Adequate School Housing (CASH), and the California Association of Latino Superintendents and Administrator (CALSA).

Erica graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Business Economics. Ms. Gonzalez maintains FINRA Series 7, 50, 53 and 63 licenses.
