Elizabeth Read

Elizabeth Read, Director, joined Stifel in 2019 as part of its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of George K. Baum & Company. Ms. Read has more than 24 years of public finance experience. She has been involved with a wide range of municipalities, higher education, special districts, counties, and school districts in Utah.

Ms. Read has served the following Utah clients: Salt Lake City, University of Utah, Utah County, Salt Lake Community College, and Midvale City. She serves as a resource in structuring and executing new issue and refunding municipal bond financings in Utah. These projects involve general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, special tax bonds, and lease-backed securities.

Ms. Read holds a B.A. in Liberal Studies from California State University, San Marcos.
