Edward Stasen

Edward G. Stasen is a Managing Director with Stifel's Specialty Financial Products Desk, specializing in tender option bond (TOB) trust administrator services. With a career spanning more than 20 years, Mr. Stasen has extensive experience in municipal trading, hedge fund management, municipal debt structuring, liquidity and risk management, financial analysis, derivative analysis, fixed income evaluation, and portfolio management.

Mr. Stasen joined Stifel in 2019, through its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of George K. Baum & Company (GKB). Prior to joining GKB, Mr. Stasen was a Municipal Bond Trader and Assistant Bond Portfolio Manager with Definitive Capital Management, where his team managed and traded municipal assets of more than $1 billion in long positions. Before joining Definitive Capital Management, Mr. Stasen spent six years with Merrill Lynch, where he served as a Vice President managing the firm's proprietary and third-party TOB program.

Mr. Stasen earned a B.S. in Business and Economics with a major in Finance and a concentration in Accounting from Lehigh University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFAr) charter.
