David Shadix

David Shadix joined the firm in 2012 and serves as a Manager Director within Stifel Interest Rate Products, LLC, where he leads the balance sheet hedging desk and focuses on depository institutions nationwide, across asset sizes from $100 million to $100 billion, both public and private.

Prior to joining Stifel’s Financial Institutions Strategies group in 2013, David was an analyst on the loan trading and Treasury/Agency trading desks at Stifel (formerly Sterne Agee) for two years. Before this, he worked in secondary marketing at BBVA Compass Bank (now PNC Bank).

David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The University of Alabama and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Risk from the Manderson Graduate School of Business at The University of Alabama. He is a CFA charter holder and member of the CFA Society of Alabama.
