Damien Choplain is a Managing Director and Co-Head of European Healthcare and Technology Research. Based in Paris, he joined Stifel in 2025.
Damien holds nearly 15 years of experience in equity research and strategic advisory across the healthcare sector. Most recently, he served as Senior Pharma/Biotech Analyst at Oddo BHF, following four years at Kepler Cheuvreux covering a broad universe of European healthcare names. Before this, he worked at Gilbert Dupont (Société Générale CIB) and Bionest Partners, where he advised on multiple biotech and medtech transactions.
Damien earned a master’s degree in chemistry from CPE Lyon and a Specialized Master’s in Corporate Finance from Emlyon Business School.
