Charles Simon

Charles Simon is a Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group. Charles is focused on mergers & acquisitions and financings for Healthcare Technology (HCIT) and Dental companies.

Prior to joining Stifel in 2020, Charles was a co-founder of Macquarie’s Industrials Group, was Cantor Fitzgerald’s sole Healthcare M&A VP advising companies across Healthcare Services, HCIT, HC Logistics, and Diagnostics, and began his finance career in Evercore’s Transportation investment banking group, covering Shipping, Leasing, Trucking, Rail, and Helicopters.

Previously, Charles served over nine years in the U.S. Navy, as a Naval Aviator flying the E-2C Hawkeye, and serving a tour on the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the Pentagon. After the Navy, Charles worked in business development and operations for Kestrel, a defense software firm acquired by Boeing.

Charles has an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, an MA in Technology & Security from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, and a BS in Computer Science from The George Washington University’s School of Engineering and Applied Science.
