Celedonio Moncayo

Cele Moncayo is a Managing Director and Head of Stifel Europe’s Packaging, Paper and Forest Products franchise. He holds over 25 years of experience in corporate finance, with the last 20 focusing exclusively on the sector.

Cele also has significant experience advising privately and publicly held companies, in addition to financial sponsors, on a variety of transactions globally. He has successfully completed over 75 transactions with an overall transaction value over EUR 15 bn, acting as M&A buy-side and sell-side advisor in stand-alone and complex carve-out situations as well as in restructuring cases. He has sold multiple privately held packaging assets in the plastics and fibre space and has a wealth of transaction experience in the graphic / specialty paper and forest product sectors (including forestland) globally. Before joining Stifel, he was a Managing Director Poyry Capital.
