v-CardCarol DeNatale is Chief Operating Officer of Stifel’s Investment Banking and Capital Markets group and co-Chair of Stifel’s Women’s Initiative Network. Ms. DeNatale works closely with the Institutional Group management team in developing the organization’s strategy, driving performance measures and ensuring the management of resources and business operations is effectively aligned with the strategy of the organization.
Prior to joining Stifel in 2010, Ms. DeNatale worked at Merrill Lynch where she held various senior positions including Chief Operating Officer for ML Global Private Equity and Chief Operating Officer for Merrill Lynch’s Investment Banking division across the United States, Canada and Latin America. She began her career at Merrill Lynch in the Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group where she focused on strategic advisory work.
Ms. DeNatale served as co-Chair of Merrill Lynch’s Global Markets and Investment Banking Women’s Leadership Council from 2005 to 2007 and was recognized for “Leadership in Diversity & Inclusion” in 2007. Ms. DeNatale is actively involved in Dress for Success, where she has been a volunteer for over 15 years in their Manhattan “shop” as a personal shopper and career counselor for women in need as they prepare for job interviews. An avid traveler, Ms. DeNatale has combined her love of travel with her interest in service to others, having volunteered in recent years for 7 Habitat Global Village Builds around the world, including several that were specific to vulnerable women and orphans in Mozambique, Malawi and Nepal.
Carol holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.S. from Fairfield University.
