Carlos Vascon Penim, CFA

Carlos Vascon Penim is a Vice President in the Diversified Industries Investment Banking Group at Stifel focused on advising companies in the Forest Products, Pulp, Paper, and Packaging sectors.

Carlos joined Stifel’s European team in London in 2021 from Pöyry Capital, where he had been covering Forest Products, Pulp, Paper, and Packaging since 2017. Previously he worked at Duff & Phelps in Germany and in KPMG’s Deal Advisory department in Portugal. Carlos has extensive transaction experience and has provided advice to both privately and publicly held companies as well as financial sponsors on a diverse range of transactions globally. He has served as an advisor in M&A transactions, representing both buyers and sellers, including complex carve-out situations.

Carlos holds an MSc from University of Mannheim, Germany and a B.S.c in Administration from Catolica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics, Portugal.
