Brandon Roop

Brandon Roop joined Stifel Canada in 2019 following the acquisition of GMP Securities Inc. by Stifel. Mr. Roop first joined GMP Securities in 2015 and covers the Life Sciences sector. His sector experience includes biopharma, cannabis, healthtech, healthcare services, medtech, psychedelics, tools & diagnostics, and wellness.

Previously, he was at PwC Corporate Finance, providing M&A advisory services within the healthcare, consumer retail, industrial, real estate and technology sectors. Earlier in his career, Brandon worked at Collins Barrow Toronto (now RSM), providing assurance and tax services to both public and private companies.

Brandon received a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier in finance & accounting, is a Chartered Accountant (CA, CPA) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
