Austin Ball

Austin Ball is a Managing Director in Stifel’s Global Technology Group and is responsible for coverage across Enterprise Software, including both Horizontal (Go-To-Market, Workforce Engagement, Supply Chain, Risk, CX) and Vertical (Industrial/Utilities, Sports) platforms and applications. Austin’s experience includes origination and execution of both buy-side and sell-side M&A for leading public and private companies, private equity firms and founder- and management-owned businesses, including cross-border M&A. Austin has also originated and executed on public and private capital raising transactions for software companies and private equity firms including IPOs, equity follow-on offerings, convertible offerings, syndicated leveraged finance offerings and private placements.

Prior to joining Stifel in 2025, Austin worked in the Technology Investment Banking Group at TD Cowen where he led the Front Office Application and Communications Software practice. Before this, he worked in the Technology Investment Banking Group at Jefferies covering Enterprise Software

Austin earned a B.A. from Gettysburg College and an MBA from Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management.
