Alejandro Hoyos

Alejandro Hoyos joined Stifel Canada as Vice President, Investment Banking in 2022. Mr. Hoyos is a corporate finance professional with over 12 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking and equity research at companies in Canada and Colombia.

Most recently Alejandro worked at Kinross (focused on the Chilean portfolio) in Toronto and at Minesa (Aris Gold/Mubadala’s Soto Norte project) in Colombia. Previously he worked at CIBC’s investment banking team for Latin America and held equity research roles at boutique investment dealers in Toronto.

Mr. Hoyos received a Bachelors’ of Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia, holds an MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
