Waldo Glasman

Waldo joined Stifel in 2016 and leads Stifel’s Latin America Investment Banking Practice. He focuses on the origination and execution of Latin America-related investment banking transactions including M&A, Public Offerings of Equity and Debt, Pre-IPO Offerings, SPACs, and Private Placements.

Waldo began his investment banking career in 1996, and has been exclusively dedicated to Latin America since then. Prior to joining Stifel, Waldo was a Managing Director responsible for the Latin America M&A practice at CEA Capital Advisors, a global boutique investment bank with focus on the media, telecom, and technology sectors. Previously, he was a Vice President at Societe Generale’s New York-based Latin America Corporate Finance Group, focusing on M&A, Bond Offerings, and Syndicated Loans. Waldo has closed transactions in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Chile, Panama, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, and El Salvador. He grew up in Argentina and Brazil, and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Waldo has an MBA from University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business, and a B.A. in Accounting from Universidad de Belgrano in Argentina.
