Stephen Soock

Stephen Soock joined Stifel Canada with more than a decade of experience in the mining industry, in both technical and capital markets roles. He spent 5 years in various mining engineering positions at sites across Canada including administration of multi-million dollar mining development contracts, evaluating the economics of new mining complexes, assessing new mining technologies and completing life of mine designs. Through his career on Bay Street, Stephen has covered senior and intermediate gold producers, base metal producers and exploration companies in various capacities. He currently covers the junior gold producers, silver space and advanced exploration companies with a slant on evaluating their value as future mines. Stephen also provides macro-economic analysis for factors related to precious metal prices.

He has a B. Sc. in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and a registered Professional Engineer.
