Scot Sedlacek

Scot joined Stifel through its 2019 acquisition of Mooreland Partners and is a member of the Software team. He has more than 25 years of experience in technology investment banking.

Prior to joining Mooreland in 2009, Scot served as Managing Director with Jefferies & Co. in the Technology Investment Banking Group and was formerly with Broadview International, where he served as the Co-Head of Broadview's Software Global Market Group. He served as board director of Broadview through its acquisition by Jefferies in 2003. He has also been a Venture Partner with JMI Equity, a multi-stage private equity firm focused on investing in software and technology-enabled services companies. Scot began his career at IBM Corporation, where he held several technical and management positions over an eight-year period.

Scot earned his bachelor's degree from Stanford University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
