Paul Dell’Isola

Paul is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Private Capital Markets (PCM). He leads a team of professionals who have worked together for an average of 19 years, leading 71 sole managed Pre-IPO 144A equity offerings totaling over $21B and achieving 74% market share since 2000. The PCM team works with over 400 bankers and 200 sales people within the entire Stifel organization made up of over 7400 employees to optimize results for its issuer clients.

Prior to joining Stifel in May 2017, Paul worked for FBR Capital Markets for more than 25 years where he was an early partner and instrumental in building the franchise into a top ten lead managed underwriter of common equity in the U.S. At FBR, he was a member of the Executive Committee, the Commitment Committee and was Head of Capital Markets. Prior to running Capital Markets, he was Head of High Yield trading and was the top overall sales person at the firm for over a decade. In total, he has executed over 180 lead-left book-run transactions totaling over $34 billion in capital raised.

Paul has been on the Board of Trustees and Head of the Development Committee at Connelly School of the Holy Child in Potomac, MD. He is active in the community and supports numerous charities. He and his wife Miriam currently live in Bethesda, MD with their six children. Paul holds a B.A. from the University of Maryland College Park.
