Mr. Willson joined the Denver Public Finance Department in 1993 with Hanifen Imhoff (acquired by Stifel in 2000). Since 1993, Mr. Willson has structured over 1,100 issues for clients throughout the country totaling over $11 billion in debt. His extensive experience in municipal finance includes structuring refunding bond issues and escrow accounts and formulating cash flows for complex issues such as state revolving loan programs. Mr. Willson’s activities have varied from general obligation municipal transactions to complex revenue bond issues, including State Transportation Revenue Anticipation Notes, higher education issues, and large refundings for a number of issuers around the country. His prior experience includes 2 1/2 years as the Finance Manager for the Colorado Water Resources and Power Development Authority, where he negotiated the sale of utility revenue bonds.
