[email protected] | (303) 291-5368 | v-CardMr. Willson joined the Denver Public Finance Department in 1993 with Hanifen Imhoff (acquired by Stifel in 2000). Since 1993, Mr. Willson has structured over 1,100 issues for clients throughout the country totaling over $11 billion in debt. His extensive experience in municipal finance includes structuring refunding bond issues and escrow accounts and formulating cash flows for complex issues such as state revolving loan programs. Mr. Willson’s activities have varied from general obligation municipal transactions to complex revenue bond issues, including State Transportation Revenue Anticipation Notes, higher education issues, and large refundings for a number of issuers around the country. His prior experience includes 2 1/2 years as the Finance Manager for the Colorado Water Resources and Power Development Authority, where he negotiated the sale of utility revenue bonds. This included the analysis of the complex cash flows involved with the oversight of Colorado’s State Revolving Fund Program. These issues helped to finance more than 20 water and wastewater projects in Colorado. This has given Mr. Willson a breadth of experience in all types of project financings. Prior to that, he was a Vice President with a regional investment bank in Denver since 2011. Mr. Willson received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Mr. Willson maintains Series 7, 24, and 63 registrations.
