Lara Cornel joined Stifel Canada in 2019 following the acquisition of GMP Securities Inc. by Stifel. Lara first joined GMP Securities in 2017 covering the Metals & Mining Sector. Following Stifel’s acquisition of GMP Securities, Lara spent 2 years on the US Institutional Equity Sales desk before rejoining the Metals & Mining Investment Banking team in 2022. Lara received a Bachelors’ of Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
