Joe Kinder

Joe Kinder is a Managing Director with Stifel's Kansas and Missouri Public Finance groups. He joined Stifel in 2019 through its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of George K. Baum & Company (GKB). In his 12 years with GKB, he served as an advisor and banker. His focus is in tax-exempt general obligation, lease purchase and revenue issues supported by property tax, sales tax, or user fees for Missouri school districts, cities, and counties.

Mr. Kinder holds a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law. He is a licensed attorney in both Missouri and Kansas, and is a member of several professional associations, including the Missouri Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association, and the National Association of Bond Attorneys. Mr. Kinder currently resides in the Kansas City, Missouri, area.
