James Townend is a member of the Hedge Fund distribution team.  He sits on the Liquid Funds Investment Committee. Prior to joining Eaton Partners he was a Business Development Director for Nomura Asset Management in London, responsible for building a European presence and raising institutional capital for the firm's hedge funds. Previously he was an International Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch, a member of the Multi Manager Team at Global Asset Management, and was also a Consultant at Statistical Decisions Ltd. 

James holds a Masters MSc (Distinction) in Investment Management from CASS Business School, and a BA from the University of Westminster. He is licensed with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in Europe.
