Brian Schneiweiss

Brian Schneiwess joined Stifel in 2016 as Senior Vice President and Co-Head of the Corporate & Institutional Advisory Services Group. Brian is directly responsible for all trading operations and executive services for the teams corporate integrated benefits clients. Brian and his team specialize in integrated benefit plans including Equity Compensation, Defined Benefit and Deferred Compensation as well as Executive Services including the sale of control and restricted stock and 10(b)5-1 Trading Plans.

Brian’s focus is on helping executives manage concentrated stock positions. He is also responsible for maintaining a high level of service for all of the executives and employees of the benefit plans the team manages. Brian has worked in the employee benefits space for two decades, beginning with Merrill Lynch’s Retirement Group in 2001. In 2007, Brian joined the Private Executive Services Team at Merrill Lynch.

In 2009, Brian was named Head of Trading and Executive Services for the team overseeing the service level for all of the teams Equity Compensation Plan clients as well as all of the equity trading from the plans. In addition to his responsibilities on the corporate side of the teams business, Brian was responsible for all equity and equity derivative trading for the teams UNHW private clients including the trading of their discretionary portfolios.
