Andrew Lanam is a Vice President in Stifel's Indiana Public Finance practice. Mr. Lanam provides investment banking, municipal advisory, and consulting services to clients throughout Indiana, including the State of Indiana and its authorities, cities, counties, towns, special taxing districts, and school corporations. He joined Stifel in 2019 through its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of George K. Baum & Company (GKB). Prior to joining GKB, Mr. Lanam was responsible for client, staff, and transaction management for an Indiana-based CPA and municipal advisory firm, Reedy Financial Group, PC (RFG). RFG covered all municipal finance, public utilities, economic development, and utility accounting services for local units of government throughout Indiana. In addition to regularly writing articles about Indiana local government finance and taxation, he has given presentations on municipal finance, utility rate studies, and tax increment financings at various conferences and public meetings. Mr. Lanam has also served as an expert witness regarding local government accounting and finance.

Mr. Lanam's prior career positions include Commercial Credit Analyst and Commercial Banker with Indiana-based Jackson County Bank. In his roles with Jackson County Bank, his duties included commercial credit underwriting, commercial loan portfolio management, business development, and direct lending activities for a wide variety of clients.

Mr. Lanam is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Indiana and holds a B.S. in Public Affairs from Indiana University. He holds memberships with the Government Finance Officers Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Indiana CPA Society, and American Water Works Association.
