Alex Tyszkiewicz has 12 years of experience being on an Institutional Sales and Trading desk. He was an integral part of the institutional equities department at GMP Securities from 2008 to 2020 where he was primarily focused on selling Canadian equities to the Montreal and Vancouver franchises. Alex began his finance career in Mining Research at PI Financial in Vancouver where he developed his skills in analyzing/valuing Canadian junior mining companies. Alex is a generalist, with a penchant for resource sectors, and has built a reputation of being a contrarian thinker. Alex attended Concordia University and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Commerce, Major in Finance.
