Aamit Joshi

Aamit has nearly 20 years of Chemicals M&A experience helping global companies and private equity achieve their strategic initiatives. Being a chemicals engineer by training, he brings a unique ability to understand the business and its position in the chemicals value chain. 

Aamit started his career with Reliance Petrochemicals in 1997 in Mumbai, India and moved over to doing Chemicals M&A with Dresdner Kleinwort where he was until 2009. After a brief period in India were he covered the chemicals industry in Asia, Aamit moved over to Lincoln International where he spent 6 years leading the chemicals sector. In 2019 he moved over to Alantra to co-head the sector with his former colleague. In July 2021, the Chemicals team at Alantra moved over to Stifel and Aamit continues to co-head the Chemicals sector globally. 

Aamit holds a Master's in Finance from London Business School (2003) and has a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Gujarat University, India (1995).
