Sameer Parasnis

Sameer has been Managing Director in Stifel’s Energy & Natural Resources Investment Banking Group since 2016. Sameer has ~25 years of experience across industry and banking and has advised clients on capital markets transactions and strategic M&A in the upstream, downstream and energy transition space. Prior to Stifel, he served as Managing Director at GMP Securities after working as a Director in Credit Suisse's Houston office. Mr. Parasnis began his banking career at Citi and has worked on a variety of transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $100 billion during his career. Prior to banking, he began his career at Reliance Industries of India.

Sameer received a Masters in Finance from London Business School, an M.B.A. from SMU’s Cox School of Business and a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Institute of Chemical Technology in India (formerly U.D.C.T.).
