Paul Makepeace

Paul Makepeace is Head of UK Equity Trading with responsibility for the Management of the UK Market Making and Electronic trading desks. He is based in the firm’s London office. Paul joined Stifel in 2016 from ISM Capital as Head of Convertible Trading helping the implementation of the product across the SNEL platform. Previously Paul was a senior Convertible & Hedge Fund Trader and has over 30 years’ experience in the convertible bond and equity markets, with particular emphasis on the Asian and International markets. Paul has worked in many of the major financial centres including New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and London, holding a variety of senior management positions. He has a thorough knowledge of a broad range of financial instruments and has many long-term market relationships.
